Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin who lived from 1878-1953, was a dictator who reigned with the Soviet Union, also known as the Union of soviet socialists republics (USSR). Between the years of 1929 to 1953. Stain was able to transform the peasant society into a militaristic industrialization to continue to uphold power for the Soviet Union. Although he was able to accomplish the fact of being in power, he did this by terror in which many people feared of his reign. At a young age, Stalin was involved in violent actions as well as politics which could be the reason for his contribution to the Soviet Union. After the previous leader, Vladimir Lenin, Stalin was able to move into a position to be in power with the soviet union. While he was in power, Stalin sent potential enemies to be killed or the were sent to labor camps. After world war II, Stalin became in a heated conflict known as the cold war. While the conflict of the berlin blockade was on people's mind, it was the last major conflict between Stalin and the western world.
